Meet Luna, a sweet, chatty 10-year-old girl with a playful personality and lots of love to give. Luna spent her first 10 years in a home, but when her previous owners welcomed a baby, she struggled with the big change and was ultimately surrendered through no fault of her own. Now, she is looking for a calm, loving home where she can feel secure and be someone’s special girl again. Adorable things about Luna: She loves being pet & brushed She greets you with lots of little meows when you come home She enjoys napping close to her people She loves catnip Her favorite toys are pom poms and ribbon wands She can still jump! She likes birdwatching She enjoys drinking from the faucet Luna does well with men and women Luna would be a wonderful companion for a senior, or for someone who works during the day. She may need a bit of dental work, likely some extractions and a good cleaning so she can feel her best. We are looking for a peaceful home without young children for Luna, and most importantly, a family who will stay by her side and give her time to open her heart again. After everything she has been through, Luna deserves a home that will give her the stability, affection, and care she needs, and she has plenty of love to give in return. Most of the animals in our care are foster animals from Orange County Animal Services (OCAS), in other words the property of OCAS. Anyone wanting to adopt one of these animals completes an application form and must submit the form in person at OCAS directly. The adoption for these animals is $40, one of the requirements is verification of pet policy if the potential adoptor rents. The adoption process for animals owned by KFCI is similar but adoption fees vary depending on each individual animal; however we try to keep the fee as close to $40 as possible even if our expenses were significantly more.
