In the shelter’s words

Meet Charbonnet Charbonnet is a 3-year-old Poodle boy, weighing about 23lbs, with soft curls, kind eyes, and a calm, gentle presence that makes you feel at ease the moment you meet him. He was rescued from an illegal breeding facility in South Korea, where dogs are treated as production instead of family — but Charbonnet’s story is changing now. At three years old, Charbonnet is settling into a beautiful stage of life. He enjoys quiet companionship, cozy spaces, and being close to his people. He’s curious but thoughtful, affectionate without being overwhelming, and happiest when he knows he’s safe and loved. With patience and consistency, he’s ready to build a deep bond with a family who will show him what a real home feels like. ✨ Charbonnet is looking for a foster or forever home where he can continue to grow in confidence and finally experience the comfort and care every dog deserves. One loving home can truly change the rest of his life. Adoption Information Charbonnet’s adoption fee is $1,495, a non-refundable donation that helps support ongoing rescue efforts. It includes: • Neuter • Vaccinations • Microchip • Boarding and daily care • Health certificate • Transport from South Korea to Seattle ✈️ A GPS tracker or Apple AirTag is required for all adopted dogs — you may bring your own or purchase one from us. Please note: Breed, age, and weight are best estimates and cannot be guaranteed. Ginger’s Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Every adoption opens the door for another life to be saved. Thank you for choosing rescue and giving Charbonnet the future he’s been waiting for.
