Meet Bee Bee, a Chihuahua estimated to be about 10 years old. Before coming to Needy Paws, she endured a difficult life and was found wandering the streets as a stray. Bee Bee is a quiet, easygoing girl who would love a peaceful home where she can enjoy her remaining years. Calm and affectionate, she enjoys being with her people and spending time outdoors when they are nearby. She will let you know when she needs to go outside. Bee Bee does require a secure fenced in yard. As is common with age, Bee Bee has a few health concerns. She has a slightly enlarged heart but currently needs no medication. She may also have limited or no vision in her left eye. She does sleep a lot to rest and when not resting, she will show a little spunky attitude. Because she has joint problems in her back legs, she needs a home with few or no stairs. The video attached shows you her "low key" playing with another dog. Let’s find this sweet girl her forever home to live out her golden years. If you are interested, complete the Adoption Application on our website at www.NeedyPaws.org and we will contact you. Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO. Bee Bee’s adoption fee is $295.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip. We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.

Adopters will complete an adoption application which is sent to the dog's foster parent. Their personal and veterinarian references will be checked, a home visit conducted, and then the foster parent will set up a meeting where the adopters will meet the dog. If the adoption is approved, the adopter will then complete an Adoption Contract and the dog is theirs! Adoption fees are $275 for most dogs.
