In the shelter’s words

Looking for a little sweetness to add to your life? Sweet N Low is ready to bring love, fun and playfulness into your home.Sweet N Low is an 8-month-old border collie mix that weighs 30lbs currently and is expected to be a medium sized dog of under 60 pounds once fully grown. She is considered to have medium energy but is a very friendly dog needing to build her confidence. She gets along with other dogs and would benefit from being around other confident and playful dogs to help her come out of her shell a little more. She also does well with children making her ready to join a family. Sweet N Low has not yet met any cats so it is unknown if she would get along with one.Since she is still a puppy, Sweet N Low is learning all about leash manners, house training, and crate training. She aims to please but would do well with someone who is very patient that will build up her confidence so she can adjust to her new home. Given the time and space to learn, she will be sure to get used to new routines and become her best self. Sweet N Low just needs a new home where she feels loved, safe, and secure. If you provide her with a warm place to lay her head, she will be by your side with all the love and cuddles. Does she sound like a good addition to your family? If so, apply today!* When considering adoption, keep in mind that dogs thrive on structure and routine. They adjust much better when their owners are committed to providing consistency and stability. The adoption fee for Sweet N Low is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees. To get the ball rolling, head over to our Adoption Application and submit your application today. A Dog Star representative will contact you within 24 hours. To speed up the process, contact your vet and give them permission to speak with us.If you do not get a response within 24 hours, check your spam folder.
