In the shelter’s words
Hi, I'm Knox! I'm a fun-loving, energetic guy who is always ready for the next adventure. These days, I'm happy to be safe at M'Shoogy's while I wait for a forever family to find me. I love staying active and would be a great match for someone who enjoys walks, runs, playtime, or just getting out and having fun. Whether it's helping the kids burn off some energy or joining you on your daily jog, I'm always up for spending time with my favorite people. I'm more than just a handsome face—I'm a loyal companion looking for a place to belong. If you're searching for an active, happy-go-lucky dog to share life's adventures with, I might be the perfect fit. Come meet me and see if we're a match made in doggy heaven!

We want to meet you and make sure we are making the right match for your situation as well as for the animal. Email or call us about which animal you are considering and we can make an appointment for you and the animal to meet. Visit the Adoption Information page at www.mshoogys.org to fill out our adoption application and email it to one of our volunteers. You can also print a copy, fill it out, and bring it with you to M'Shoogy's during our hours of operation, which are Saturdays from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Please note that if you are applying to adopt a dog, we usually require that you have a fenced-in yard except in special situations. The cost to adopt includes shots and the cost of spaying/neutering. If you are adopting a dog we also ask that you purchase 6 months of heartworm preventative. It is sold by weight. If you check around, you'll find it is the lowest cost adoption service in the area.
