In the shelter’s words
Joanie is a true diamond in the rough—she's incredibly cute, but she is also a little shy and takes a moment to warm up to new people and environments. When she first meets you, she might observe you quietly from a safe distance, but a little patience goes a long way with this gentle girl. Once comfortable, Joanie reveals her soft side. She enjoys quiet cuddles and purring right next to you, making her the perfect companion for a calm home. Her secret weapon? Wet food. Joanie is a gourmet connoisseur, and the sight (or smell!) of a freshly opened can is the fastest way to her heart and the best motivator for getting her comfortable. If you're looking for a quiet, affectionate friend who just needs a little space to blossom, Joanie is waiting to meet you. She needs a young kitty playmate in the home.
