In the shelter’s words

Joy is very affectionate with her foster mom. Mom appreciates the rough life she had to start and provides her with a calm, consistent home and in return, Joy provides constant love and companionship. She is good with smaller dogs and cats. We'll say no small kids because she needs her space respected and the chaos and running may cause her to nip. Age: 6 years Weight: 55 lbs Temperament: Gets along with cats and small dogs, adults Training: Housetrained, crate-trained, has basic training. Vetting: Spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm negative Email for questions: asimon100@outlook.com To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review. Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit.
