YODA NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!! Name: Yoda Best Guess for Breed: Terrier/shepherd mix Best Guess for Age: 6 months as of October 2026 SEX: Male Approximate Weight: 26 pounds as of October 2026 - still has a little growing to do. Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen him with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters! Currently Living at: DC area foster Special adoption considerations: In certain home settings--where the environment might be loud or more intense--this dog would do better with another dog in the home to give him confidence. Yoda is Looking For: My forever family! I can't wait to explore my new neighborhood on lots of walks, and I'd really like to make a bunch of doggie friends along the way. But most of all I want to know I'm safe and loved, where I belong. I have so many kisses and so much love and loyalty to give in return. What do you say? Do I get to go home with you? What My Foster Says About Me: Yoda is doing great and has started to show some playfulness with his toys! His coat is SO soft and his ears are adorably floppy. Yoda loves hanging out and napping in his crate and slept through the night in there. On our walk he stopped to sniff everything, and then would quickly stop and go back to get another sniff in. I can already tell he's super smart and curious! Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken. All of our dogs are working on their crate training.
