In the shelter’s words

Meet Chucky (A547069) a 2½-year-old 11lb survivor with a heart that’s ready to trust again. This little guy didn’t get the easiest start in life, and it shows in the way he approaches the world: cautiously, thoughtfully, and with a strong sense of what feels safe for him. He just needs someone who understands that respect and patience are the keys to his heart.Chucky is looking for a calm, stable home where his boundaries are honored and his personality can shine. He’d do best in an adult-only household or one with older, dog-savvy kids who understand that everyone has their grumpy moments. Honestly, who doesn’t?If you’re the kind of person who appreciates a dog with character — a dog who’s been through things and is still willing to try again — Chucky might be your perfect match. He’s ready for his second chance. He just needs the right person to give it to him.Currently in foster in Santa Barbara. To meet Chucky:Text 805-699-0975Email:sbcassouthfostercoordinator@gmail.com
