In the shelter’s words
Meet Chui! Your future best friend, personal comedian, and professional zoomie champion Chui is a dashing black-and-white American Bully with a heart as big as his personality. This guy doesn’t just walk into a room… he arrives! Whether he’s striking a pose like he’s on a magazine cover or bouncing around like he just discovered gravity for the first time, Chui keeps life exciting. He’s got spunk for days and a playful spirit that turns ordinary moments into adventures. Toys? Amazing. Treats? Incredible. You? His absolute favorite. Chui lives for running in the yard, goofy playtime, and making you laugh with his signature “did you see that?!” expressions. He’s the kind of dog who will greet you like a celebrity every single day. If you’re looking for a dog with personality, charm, and just the right amount of mischief, Chui is ready to steal your heart (and probably your spot on the couch). Adopt Chui… because life is better with a little extra wiggle and a whole lot of love Chui's adoption fee is $250 and includes his neuter, microchip, current vaccinations and preventatives, plus a free basic obedience course at Cedar Run Company in Hiawatha. If you would like to meet Chui, please submit an adoption application through our website, Adopthope.org. Chui is seeking a home as an indoor dog only and he will require a fenced in yard. Last Hope requires that adopters have a history of having kept any previous pets altered, kept current on annual vaccines and vet visits, and as indoor pets only. Our adoption process includes a vet history check and a home visit.

Prior to adoption, all of our dogs have been tested for heartworm, current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, and spayed or neutered, if age appropriate. Our adoption process includes reference and background checks, a vet check and home visit. The adoption fee for dogs and puppies varies. Prior to adoption, our cats have been tested for feline leukemia, current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, and spayed or neutered, if age appropriate. If at the time of adoption, the kitten is too young to be spayed or neutered, an agreed upon time frame will be set for when this procedure is to be done. Spaying or neutering is not an optional procedure, it is required of all animals we rescue. The adoption fee for cats and kittens varies.
