In the shelter’s words

Meet Sassy: A Gentle Soul Ready for Her Happy Ending Some dogs come into rescue with a story that tugs at your heart, and sweet Sassy is one of them. Sassy had a loving home, but when her dad was diagnosed with cancer, he made the incredibly difficult decision to let Sassy and her sisters go so they could have the bright futures he wanted for them. One by one, her sisters found their forever families, and now this precious girl is patiently waiting for her own happy ending. Sassy is a low-energy sweetheart who dreams of a quiet home where she can finally relax and feel safe. She's dog-friendly, easygoing, and happiest when surrounded by kindness and love. Whether she's lounging by your side, taking a leisurely stroll, or simply enjoying a peaceful afternoon, Sassy's gentle presence will warm your heart. Though life has brought some changes her way, Sassy hasn't lost her loving spirit. She's ready to leave the uncertainty behind and start a new chapter with a family who will cherish her as much as she deserves. Sassy isn't asking for much, just a soft bed, a loving home, and someone to remind her every day that she is safe, wanted, and loved. In return, she'll give you her whole heart. Could you be the happy ending Sassy has been waiting for? This sweet girl is ready to fill your home with love, gratitude, and gentle companionship.
