In the shelter’s words
Rocky was a victim of a move. His person, who had found him in a park as a puppy, moved to new place where the landlord din't allow pets. He was so scared and confused when he first arrived here at Paw Parent, but has come out of his shell since then, but still is insecure and gets spooked easily and takes his time to trust a new person. He loves food though and can be won over with treats.while playing one day he raptured his ACL on his left leg and needed surgery. He has recovered well but is still favoring the leg and only used it when he walks.He gets along well with all the dogs he has met so far and has a very gentle and submissive personality. He is housebroken and does have excellent leash manners.He's 5 years old and weighs about 50 pounds, is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.Please call 661-724-0642 or email us at pawparent@gmail.com if you would like to meet him, he will make an excellent and loyal new friend.

After someone has found a pet of her or his liking on our site and contacted us we will make sure to get back to that person as soon as possible. We require a potential adopter to fill out an application. If the application is satisfactory we will contact the prospective new parent to set up a time to meet with the pet. We also do home checks to make sure that the house or apartment the pet will go to is safe. The pet will be brought to your home at the time of the home check and if everything looks goes well the pet will be left with you. We are asking for an adoption fee and we also will have you sign a contract. We allow a two week trial period during which the money will be refunded if it turnes out to not be a match. After the two week period the adoption fee is not refundable.
