In the shelter’s words

Meet Lucky: The Little Poodle Who’s Ready for a Big ComebackSome dogs are named Lucky because they found luck. This guy? He’s named Lucky because he is the luck — a 6yearold Mini Poodle who brings good vibes the way other dogs bring tennis balls. Life threw him a curveball when his former owner could no longer afford his care, but Lucky hasn’t let that dim his sparkle. He’s still the same cheerful, tailwagging optimist who believes every person is a friend he just hasn’t greeted yet. Lucky is wonderfully social — he gets along with people of all ages, other dogs, and even cats, and he radiates that warm, “come sit with me” energy that makes you feel instantly adored. In fact, he’d love a doggy sibling in his forever home. He’s the kind of pup who thrives with a buddy to nap beside, follow around, or gently boss around in that charming, curlypoodle way. He’s friendly, he’s joyful, and he has perfected the ancient art of leaning his whole fluffy self into your lap like a tiny, curly therapist. He’s the kind of dog who trots into a room and lifts the whole mood. The kind who makes you laugh without trying. The kind who reminds you that love doesn’t have to be complicated. If you’re ready to give this sweet boy the stable, happy life he deserves, you can apply to adopt him at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org. Lucky's adoption fee is $550.Please be sure to reference this pet's name as Lucky (GA) in case of duplicate names within the rescue. Thank you! All pets are current on age-appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption. Given technical constraints on this database, this pet's location may not be as listed here. We can, however, provide transport support for pets in foster at a considerable distance from the adopter. Lucky's adoption fee is $550.
