In the shelter’s words
MAX SAYS ADOPT ME! The adorable Max just turned one year old (born 10/10/2025) and weighs 10.5 lbs. He is a light apricot miniature Poodle. He was surrendered through no fault of his own. His owners were not prepared to raise a puppy, and they were not able to give him the attention and care he needed. He's located in Tampa, FL. On initial meeting with his foster dad he was cautious and appeared fearful. He even growled and snapped at his foster dad. After leaving him alone for about 5 minutes he was approaching the foster dad and looking for attention. After about 15 minutes, he started jumping into his foster's lap demanding attention. He's turned out to be a cuddly boy with both his foster mom and dad. He loves to play in the yard, by himself or with the other dogs in the family. He sometimes gets a little rough with play, but that's just puppy behavior. Max will sleep in a crate, but it needs to be in the room with his people. He walks well on a leash and is learning to heel. If you are interested in making him a part of your family, please complete an adoption application online. https://www.floridapoodlerescue.org/adoption-application/ Allow 30 minutes to complete the application, it doesn't save information if you get half way, turn the computer off and expect to return to finish the application. If you are not interested in adopting, please share this post so this adorable boy can find his forever home!
