In the shelter’s words
Meet Josie! What an amazing dog! We all love her so much and she desperately needs a loving home. We suggest a female only home for the moment. She is a LOVER and we want to show her how good life can be! She also loves other dogs her size (medium on up). She is a squish able and super cuddly and will make a sweet companion who is all in about cozy night! She loves to watch TV or hang out with you and loves to rest her head or paw on you (yes, we know, swoon). She loves to be connected to her people. Josie has the sweetest, most soulful eyes. Once she warms to you, her eyes brim with love and trust. She loves to play! She is full of life and curious and is 2 1/2 years old. She will benefit, too, if you happen to have another medium to larger dog in the home. She has the CUTEST little pounce that makes everyone smile, whether she is cheering up other dogs or making people laugh with her goofy antics. She also is quite the adventure buddy and walks, hikes, running, any of it, she is up for it! She is learning leash walking and doing well. She is also crazy about water and swimming! Come and meet this gorgeous girl. She will be vaccinated, chipped and spayed. Her adoption fee is $495.

Plan a visit with the source organization
We pull dogs from kill shelters and place them with fosters or trial adopters. All adoptions have 2 week trial. Adoption donation is made after trial period and certificate of ownership is issued. We also bring animals from owner surrenders into our organization so that they never enter the shelter system. We check references for all applicants and complete home checks. A great deal of our dogs are transported from CA to Seattle once we have found a foster or trial for them.
