TIGRI NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!! Name: Tigri Best Guess for Breed: Lab/Terrier Best Guess for Age: 3.5 years as of Sept. 2026 SEX: Male Approximate Weight: 68.4lbs Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen them with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters! Currently Living at: DC area foster home Special adoption considerations: Dogs from Puerto Rico have a major transition to go through when they arrive and will need humans who are very committed to socialization. We think this pup would do best with either a resident dog or a family who can make sure they can go on walks regularly with other dogs, visit the dog park, or go to doggie daycare to learn the ropes. Tigri is Looking For: His forever home! This big boy has an equally big heart, and he's ready to pack his bags, leave island behind, and hopefully play in snow! He's heard that's really fun. He can't wait to find his forever home filled with treats, love, lots of cuddles, and belly rubs (but not necessarily in that order). He might find life in the DC area a bit overwhelming at first, so he'd like to request adopters who can show him all the wonderful and amazing things the world has to offer. What My Foster Says About Me: He’s being the best boy, sleeping a ton and super lively with everyone. Still getting into a pee/poo routine but he loves food and treats and lots and lots of attention. And made friends with my neighbor’s dog! Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken. All of our dogs are working on their crate training.
