In the shelter’s words

Waffles is a 5-year-old buff tabby girl with a heart as warm as her name. This sweet, affectionate lady is a total love bug who adores attention and will happily accept treats as part of her daily “love language.” She gets along well with cats, dogs, and kids, making her a wonderful fit for a variety of homes. Waffles also has a playful, adventurous side—she loves to climb up high and keep an eye on her kingdom from above. And when it’s time to wind down, she’s an excellent biscuit maker, happily kneading away while soaking up all the love. Waffles does have a history of allergies, but she responds well to steroids and has done great with treatment. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, FIV/FeLV negative, and microchipped—ready to settle right into her forever home. Her adoption fee is $168. If you’re looking for a sweet, snuggly companion with just a sprinkle of playful curiosity (and fresh “biscuits” daily), Waffles is ready to make your home extra cozy. Please remember: Unless otherwise specified, all our kittens and cats are strictly indoor pets. If you’re interested in adoption, please visit straylovefoundation.org and complete an adoption application. Every rescue in our care receives comprehensive vetting, which includes: A combo test Deworming Spay/neuter procedures Vaccinations Microchipping We take every possible step to ensure their health and happiness, giving them the best chance at a long, fulfilling life. While we do everything in our power to provide healthy rescues, it's important to note that some animals may have genetic health conditions we cannot predict (since we don’t have their family history). Additionally, medical tests—though highly reliable—can occasionally yield false negatives. Unexpected health issues may arise, either before or after adoption, but thanks to our thorough vetting process, the likelihood of a long and healthy life is very high. Additional adoption details: Transportation fees, if applicable, vary based on distance and expenses. Home checks may be conducted. Our standard tax-deductible adoption donation is $168. For special breeds, uniquely colored, or exceptionally adorable rescues, we may request a higher donation to help cover vet expenses. Can't adopt? Consider donating, sponsoring, or volunteering! Every form of support makes a difference. Tax-deductible donations can be made via PayPal using info@straylovefoundation.org, or by clicking the donate button on our: Facebook page Website homepage at www.straylovefoundation.org
