In the shelter’s words

Beau is a stunning Snowshoe cat with bright eyes, a gentle spirit, and a whole lot of love to give. He’s around 8 years and 10.5 pounds, affectionate, playful, and happiest when he’s near his people. Beau loves to cuddle on the couch or curl up in bed, and while he’s not always thrilled about being held, he’ll tolerate it for a bit before politely asking to be put down. He purrs constantly — truly one of those cats who turns on the motor the moment he’s happy. He’s a big fan of being brushed, loves mealtime, and gets excited about treats. Beau is also a playful guy who enjoys catnip toys, feathers, crinkly toys, and anything with lights. He uses his litter box reliably and travels well in a carrier, making him an easy companion for vet visits or car rides. Beau does have diabetes, which is managed with a once‑daily oral medication and a special diet. He takes his medication well and will need an adopter committed to keeping up with his routine and regular vet monitoring. He’s worth every bit of the care — he’s affectionate, goofy, gentle, and incredibly rewarding to love. He’s friendly with adults, kids, and other cats, and he’s an excellent fit for an apartment or any calm home where he can be close to his people. Beau is the kind of cat who makes a house feel warm and full — a sweet, social companion who brings joy just by being himself. If you’re looking for a loving, cuddly, playful cat who will happily be your shadow and your snuggle buddy, Beau is ready to brighten your home and your heart. *indoor cat only* Please fill out a Feline application here: https://underdogrescuemn.com/adoption-applications/feline-adoption-application/ ***Be sure to check your spam/junk folder as sometimes our emails end up there***
