In the shelter’s words

Theodore “Teddy” – Professional Lap Warmer & Certified SweetheartIf you’ve been dreaming of a cat who runs to you when you sit down…meet Teddy. This handsome gentleman has traded his outdoor life for cozy couches — and has fully embraced the indoor luxury lifestyle. Teddy is affectionate, cuddly, playful, and just the right amount of goofy. The moment you sit on the couch, he comes trotting over, hops into your lap, and settles in for snuggles. He curls up beside you for naps, gives enthusiastic leg rubs, and even drools a little when he’s especially happy (it’s his adorable signature move).Teddy gets along well with other cats and has adjusted beautifully to indoor living. He would thrive in a calm, peaceful home where he can continue building confidence and soaking up attention. Because of his history outdoors, a dog-free home would be best.Teddy is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and litter box trained. He is also FIV positive — and doing wonderfully. FIV-positive cats can live long, happy, completely normal lives. FIV is only transmitted through deep bite wounds (not through sharing bowls, grooming, or cuddling), which means FIV+ cats can safely live with FIV-negative cats in a stable home environment. Many FIV+ cats are known for being especially affectionate and people-oriented — and Teddy fits that description perfectly. All he needs is an indoor home, routine vet care, and someone to love.If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will choose you as his favorite human and fill your home with gentle meows and unconditional love… Teddy is waiting.
