In the shelter’s words
Hi, I'm Buck! I'm a handsome guy with a big heart and an even bigger hope of finding my forever home. I may be a little cautious when we first meet, but I warm up quickly and love spending time with people. Once I get comfortable, you'll find a friendly, playful companion who enjoys attention and being part of the family. One thing to know about me is that I would do best in a home without cats. If you're looking for a loyal best friend, I might be your perfect match. Come meet me and see what you think!

We want to meet you and make sure we are making the right match for your situation as well as for the animal. Email or call us about which animal you are considering and we can make an appointment for you and the animal to meet. Visit the Adoption Information page at www.mshoogys.org to fill out our adoption application and email it to one of our volunteers. You can also print a copy, fill it out, and bring it with you to M'Shoogy's during our hours of operation, which are Saturdays from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Please note that if you are applying to adopt a dog, we usually require that you have a fenced-in yard except in special situations. The cost to adopt includes shots and the cost of spaying/neutering. If you are adopting a dog we also ask that you purchase 6 months of heartworm preventative. It is sold by weight. If you check around, you'll find it is the lowest cost adoption service in the area.
