In the shelter’s words
Hi, I'm Casper! I'm a friendly, energetic guy who loves meeting new people. In fact, I've never met a stranger! Whether it's making new friends, playing, or heading out on an adventure, I'm always ready to have fun. With my athletic build and playful personality, I'd be a great match for an active person or family who enjoys walks, hikes, outdoor activities, and exploring new places. I have plenty of energy and would love a home where I can stay active and be part of the action. Most of all, I'm looking for a family to call my own—one that will love me as much as I'll love them. If you're searching for a happy, outgoing companion with a zest for life, I might be the perfect fit. Come meet me at M'Shoogy's and discover the real Casper!

We want to meet you and make sure we are making the right match for your situation as well as for the animal. Email or call us about which animal you are considering and we can make an appointment for you and the animal to meet. Visit the Adoption Information page at www.mshoogys.org to fill out our adoption application and email it to one of our volunteers. You can also print a copy, fill it out, and bring it with you to M'Shoogy's during our hours of operation, which are Saturdays from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Please note that if you are applying to adopt a dog, we usually require that you have a fenced-in yard except in special situations. The cost to adopt includes shots and the cost of spaying/neutering. If you are adopting a dog we also ask that you purchase 6 months of heartworm preventative. It is sold by weight. If you check around, you'll find it is the lowest cost adoption service in the area.
