In the shelter’s words
Tootsie Roll is a sweet young tortie who is learning to be brave, taking soft, deliberate steps to explore the world around her at her own comfortable pace. Every day brings a quiet new milestone—whether it's cautiously investigating a new room or building up the courage to say hello. Watching her confidence grow is an absolute joy, and because she is so young, her full personality is still developing—giving her future family the unique privilege of witnessing her blossom firsthand! While she might be a bit cautious at first, Tootsie has a wonderfully playful side once she feels safe. She is endlessly fascinated by toy mice and wand toys, but her absolute favorite thing in the world is a dancing ribbon. She will gladly show off her acrobatic leaps and hilarious pounces as she chases a dancing ribbon across the room, pouncing with total focus and comedic enthusiasm. Her lively, playful spirit is sure to bring constant laughter and entertainment to any home. When her quiet adventures and play sessions are done, she will curl up right by your feet at night, keeping your toes warm while gently purring herself to sleep. Tootsie is looking for a patient, loving home that will encourage her growing courage, offer plenty of ribbon-chasing fun, and cherish her sweet companionship. Prior to adoption, all kittens are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped. Kittens under 5 months old must be adopted with a buddy or into a house where there's a kitten-friendly pet. This kitten is currently in a foster home. To meet this kitten, please fill out an adoption application so that we'll have your contact information, and we'll get back to you as soon as possible. www.thedancingcat.org/adopt
