In the shelter’s words
WATCH MY VIDEO...It's heartbreaking, but sadly, we hear this story far too often. Roscoe, a handsome 4-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier, was left behind when his family moved and couldn't take him along. Imagine how confusing it must be to lose the family and home you love through no fault of your own. Roscoe is a fun-loving, goofy guy with plenty of personality! He's active, smart, and always ready for a game of fetch. Balls, toys, treats... he's a fan of them all! He knows how to sit and stay, takes treats gently, and enjoys affection, especially those wonderful lower-back scratches. He's also a fan of car rides and spending time with people. Just don't ask him to face a vacuum cleaner or push broom. Those are definitely not his favorite things! His former family reports that Roscoe happily lived with adults, children ages 5 and older, dogs, and cats. Since arriving at the shelter, however, he's been selective about his canine friends, so a meet-and-greet is recommended if you have another dog. Roscoe has already experienced the heartbreak of losing a home once. Now he's hoping someone will see what a wonderful, affectionate, playful companion he can be and give him the forever home he deserves. He has so much love left to give!
