Hi! Iâm Valentine, a sweet pocket pittie with a shy soul that blossoms with love. I had a tough startâbecoming a mama to 4 pups before turning 1 and experienced unkindnessâbut Iâm learning how to be a dog and enjoy life again! I love exploring, chewing on Himalayan Cheese Chews, and playing with my turtle toy. Sometimes I borrow shoes and toys, but with guidance, Iâll channel my energy in the right direction. I have some back leg pain and skin allergies (being monitored by the vet). I prefer quiet spaces and gentle introductions. Please give me pets and scratches on my chest, neck, or headâno pats, especially near my tail, as Iâm still healing emotionally. Iâm playful and gentle with kids (still learning whatâs okay to nibble), potty trained (with the occasional reminder), and Iâve even learned to love belly rubs and kisses. All I need now is a patient, loving home to keep growing. Passion for Pitties is a foster-based pit bull rescue dedicated to finding loving, lifelong homes for dogs in need. Prospective adopters complete an adoption application, provide references, and participate in a screening process to ensure a good match. We conduct a home check (virtual or in-person) and arrange a meet-and-greet when appropriate. Approved adopters sign an adoption contract and pay an adoption fee, which helps offset the cost of vaccinations, microchipping, spay/neuter, and other veterinary care. Current adoption fees are $500 for puppies (newborn to 1 year), $300 for adult dogs (1â8 years), $250 for senior dogs (8+ years), and $500 for purebred dogs of any age. Adoption fees are subject to change and may vary based on an individual dog's age, breed, medical needs, or other factors.
