In the shelter’s words

Adoption Donation $ 299 Located: RI (Transportation costs included to the Northeast , plz ask for more details ) Age: est. DOB 8/21/24 Weight: 75 lbs This sweet 2-year-old pup is goofy and smart all in one beautiful package. He does have some quirks that have kept him from winning over his own family. Puddles has stranger-danger and does not meet new people well. He does take a couple meets before he feels comfortable. He barks and guards his soul so none of those pesky human strangers can steal it. He is head of Security and Director of Stranger Suspicion. He doesn't believe in love at first sight. In fact, he doesn't even believe in 'like' at first sight. You'll need to submit your application, pass several rounds of interviews, and allow 7–10 business days for him to decide you're not a serial killer. If you can get past his quirk, I promise, this dog is one amazing friend. We all love him here in his foster home. He does currently live with kids and a baby but because of his quirky ways, I would feel better if he went to an adult only, experienced home. He gets along great with the other dogs in my home besides the occasional toy scruffle. We don't know how he would be with cats. He does bark and growl at strangers so a low traffic home would be best and a fenced yard is a must because it will take him ime to trust his new human and probably won't feel safe with a stranger walking him right away. Come visit Puddles in his foster home any time just promise not to steal his soul. Puddles does have a foster sister named laney. A generous donor has offered to pay both of their adoption fees if they are adopted together. You can find more information about Layne on our website or reach out to me. *** As part of the adoption donation this pup will participate in FOA's spay/neuter program or other programs available through FOHA. All puppies will have age appropriate vaccinations. All small Pups need to be adopted by by children old enough to understand how to be respectful and gentle in handling a small young pup. *** If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an application on our website www.fohari.org and email my foster parent for more information: reginasfosterdogs@gmail.com Please verify the location and readiness of this dog with us. Because we save lives from various locations through out the United States, some dogs may not be in New England yet, nor ready for immediate adoption.
