In the shelter’s words
Wendy is a striking black mini panther with a touch of white on her chest and bright gold eyes that purrfectly complement her sweet personality. Wendy is a playful, loving kitten who can’t wait to welcome you home each day. She loves chasing wand toys, batting around balls on the 3 tier track toy, then settling in for well-earned cuddles. Gentle and affectionate, Wendy enjoys being petted from head to tail and will happily let her soothing purrs do the talking. She adores other cats, but no one is more special to her than her brother, Wendall. The two love playing together, sharing cozy naps in the same bed especially in a sunny spot, and staying close to each other. Wendy also likes the comfort of a warm lap if yours is available. We would be thrilled if they found a home together, but Wendy would do well in a home with another friendly feline companion. She is searching for an indoor-only home where she can continue growing into the wonderful companion she is meant to be. Wendy has a birthdate of 1/7/2026, is up to date on her vaccinations and spayed. Double the purrs, double the love—Wendall and Wendy are ready to steal your heart whether together or apart! *************************************************************************** This pet comes with an implanted 24 PetWatch microchip and free registration into the 24PetWatch pet recovery service. *************************************************************************** This cat is available for adoption at the Humane Society of McCormick County in SC for an adoption fee. All of our cats are indoor kitties. To adopt, contact 864-391-2349 or info@hsmcsc.org. We are an all-volunteer 501c3 organization. To learn more, visit www.hsmcsc.org.

Our adoption process starts with an interview. We want to know what type of cat or dog they are looking for, their lifestyle, and their expectations. Then we set up a meet and greet either at the shelter, a pet store, or at their home. Then they fill out an adoption contract. We offer and encourage potential adopters to take the dog or cat home on foster-to-adopt for a few weeks before finalizing the adoption. Our adoption fee is $65 for cats and $125 for dogs which included spay or neuter and vaccinations and for dogs, it includes a microchip. Cats can be microchipped upon request.
