In the shelter’s words
Meow!! I'm Whiskerquill. I'm a beautiful black kitten like my brother Whispering Willows. We all came from a very overcrowded area and we were really sick with an upper respiratory infection and ringworm. Thankfully, we are all better now and able to be adopted to live our best lives with new loving families. Because we needed lots of medications, our interactions with people to begin with was getting medicine and baths. That is not something that makes kitties think people are really nice. I am still the most afraid of people. I will tolerate soft pets when I'm lounging with other kitties and feel safe. I'm not very happy to be held much yet. I love to play and cause mischief in my foster home. We love the big kitties in the home and are learning from them how nice people can be. I love to play with wand toys, little balls, mice, strings, boxes, you name it and I will play with it! I'm still young, so I would do well in a family with older, gentle kids other cats and maybe even dogs if you follow the introduction procedures given by Wild Blue Cats! My current foster home is quiet and cat friendly, so I'd probably be happiest in a calm and patient home. I'm spayed, up to date on my vaccinations, dewormed and FELV negative. If you would like to meet and possibly adopt me, please complete an adoption application at www.wbcats.org/adopt. Adoption requires an approved application, completed adoption interview and contract and payment of adoption fees.
