In the shelter’s words
Meet Shy Violet!Just like her namesake from Rainbow Brite’s colorful world, little Shy Violet is a thoughtful, tender soul who prefers to quietly observe before jumping into the fun. She adores the safety of her mom’s side and watches the world with wide, curious eyes, soaking in every detail. Once she feels comfortable, she joins in the fun and wrestles in the safely and security in their foster space. Shy Violet may take her time to trust, but when she does, she’ll be your loyal, playful companion — the kind of kitten who reminds you that love doesn’t need to be loud or overdone to be pure and beautiful.

Want to find a special someone to join your family? You've come to the right place. Adopt locally with us for the benefit of our community. All you need to do is fill out an adoption form and we will find a purrfect match for your family. All of our rescues are: examined by a veterinarian, vaccinated up to date, all cats are FIV/FELV tested, dogs are Heartworm tested if age appropriate, dewormed, spayed/neutered when age appropriate and treated with flea/tick product, if needed. They also are all microchipped when they are spayed/neutered. Once an application is completed & approved to move forward - we would set up a time for you to come and meet them in their foster home where they are comfortable. If everyone feels it is a good match for everyone, we would then schedule a home visit (required) prior to adoption. We also require a non refundable deposit of $50 per pet prior to a home visit. (To be applied toward adoption donation.) Adoption Fees* (Cats): $135 for a cat/kitten Adoption Fees* (Dogs): $500 for a puppy (under 1 year of age) $400 for an adult dog *There may be a special rate for adopting a bonded pair! Ask us for details!
