In the shelter’s words

Chocolate Mousse is an affectionate, outgoing 6-month-old-kitten who would love nothing more than to cuddle on your lap, purring like a motor. He is sweet, amiable, and entertaining. He comes up with constant new antics to keep his foster parents laughing. Chocolate Mousse is affectionately called “Coco.” He has a big-man-on-campus personality. This guy confidently shares his opinions through chirps, squeaks, and meows. He seems to know that his velvet fur and sculpted face make him incredibly handsome. He has 6 other siblings, known for their antics from the comedy called “Top Secret.” The kittens all have a lot of energy. They run, jump and wrestle for hours everyday. They are super-happy when their foster parents play interactive games with them. When they're tired, they settle into laps for naps and love snuggling at night in bed.Chocolate Mousse lives with seven other kittens in the large primary bedroom of a house with his foster parents. The kittens have tested positive for a disease called feline leukemia virus. They have the progressive form, meaning they have a high viral load and are more susceptible to infection or illness. Because he is FeLV+, Chocolate Mousse cannot live with another cat unless it is also FeLV+. FeLV is not contagious to humans or dogs, but can be transferred to other cats. Annual vet visits, regular immunizations, and your love will help Chocolate Mousse and his siblings maintain a normal, healthy, and happy life. You can read more about FeLV here: https://tinyurl.com/ycxhwcmuChocolate Mousse will need to go home with one (or more) of his siblings, or to a home with an active young FeLV-positive cat.Chocolate Mousse would thrive in an active home with people who are okay with kitten shenanigans, including indoor the “cat parkour” that he excels at. As he prepares for the X games, this guy finds creative ways to garner attention and explore his surroundings; a home full of precious antiques or valuable furniture is not the best for Chocolate Mousse! If you’re ready for double (or triple!) the fun this fall, why not add some Chocolate Mousse to your celebrations? There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best estimates.Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%.All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow up visits and boosters that are not covered by Pet Haven after adoption.Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat?
