In the shelter’s words

Who doesn't love a beautiful comeback story? Meet Luna, a little sweetheart with a brand new lease on life and a whole lot of love to give! This adorable 2 year old, 18 pound miniature Scottish Terrier mix has been through a lot, but you would never know it from her sweet, affectionate personality. Luna was surrendered to ICARE while recovering from mange, but look at her now! Her skin is healthy, her beautiful coat is growing back, and she is up to date on all her vaccinations. Luna is feeling better than ever and ready to find someone who will love her forever! Luna is a devoted little cuddle bug who absolutely loves being close to her people. She enjoys leisurely walks on a leash but is equally happy spending hours soaking up the sunshine. She rarely barks, making her a great candidate for apartment or condo living. Luna is trained to use potty pads and sleeps peacefully through the night in her crate, although she would gladly trade it for a cozy spot snuggled up beside you in bed! Luna has already overcome so much, and now the best part of her story is still waiting to be written. All she needs is a loving family to share her days filled with sunshine, snuggles, and companionship. If you are looking for a sweet, affectionate little dog who will happily be your constant companion, Luna may be the one for you. Could you be the happy ending to Luna's story? Submit an adoption application today and come meet this special girl! If you are interested in adopting, please visit the I.C.A.R.E. Dog Rescue website and complete an adoption application: www.icaredogrescue.org/ready-to-adopt Adoption fee includes: spay/neuter • shots up to date • micro-chip • fecal and vet check Breeds and age are not guaranteed.
