In the shelter’s words

Introducing Lainey!Lainey is a 3.5-year-old husky mix with a fun-loving personality and a heart full of love for people. She has been wonderful with everyone she meets and is always ready to make new human friends. This girl is equal parts athlete and comedian. For instance, she slithers around in the grass on her back or belly being goofy. She loves to run and fake you out, jump in her pool and splash around. Lainey enjoys exploring, running, showing off her playful side. Tunnels, jumps, zoomies, and outdoor adventures are some of her favorite things. Her goofy antics and expressive personality will keep you laughing and entertained every day.Although on walks and outings -- such as when she went to the pet supply store or Freight Yard Brewery -- Lainey can walk by cats and dogs without reacting, she is looking for a home where she can be the only pet. She enjoys being the center of attention and would thrive with a family that can give her the love, exercise, and companionship she deserves.A fenced yard would be a wonderful bonus for Lainey, giving her space to stretch her legs and play, but it is not required. If you're looking for a loyal companion who is affectionate, entertaining, and always ready for an adventure, Lainey may be the perfect match for you. Stop in to meet her (Monday through Saturday 12 to 4:30); or schedule a visit by calling (315) 457-8762 or emailing info@humanecny.org; or you can begin the adoption process for Lainey right now by filling out an application on our website, www.humanecny.org.Contact HumaneCNY if interested in this animal. You can fill out application to adopt at the shelter.
