In the shelter’s words

Animal Information: Bruce is a 1-year-old, 70 lb Staffordshire Pit Bull mix (possibly Great Dane or Pointer) looking for an active, loving home. He's neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated, crate-trained, and knows sit, down, stay, wait, both paws, and gentle. Bruce is affectionate, social, and loves both people and dogs. He enjoys hiking, nature walks, playing with other dogs, being in the water, and lounging outside in the sun. He's an energetic young dog who thrives on training and outdoor time each day, but he's also a big cuddle bug when it's time to relax. He's still working on leash manners, staying focused around squirrels and rabbits, and polite greetings, but he's smart, eager to please, and learns quickly with consistent training. Bruce hasn't lived with kids or cats, and he can be mouthy so we would only consider home with children 12 and up. Bruce is being rehomed due to his owner's health and is looking for a kind, responsible home that can give him the time, exercise, and love he deserves. Foster Profile: Coming soon! Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization (ID 81-5101166). Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog is being rehomed due to his owners health and limited ability to care for him.
