In the shelter’s words
Misty is a soft, sweet girl who moves through life with quiet caution. New people and new places can feel a little overwhelming for her, so she takes her time, watching from a safe spot until she feels brave enough to come closer. But once she realizes she's safe, you see her true self the gentle tail taps, the soft eyes, the way she leans in just a little more each day. She's still learning that people can be kind and that hands can bring comfort, not worry. Every bit of progress she makes is meaningful: the first sniff of your hand, the first time she chooses to sit beside you, the first moment she relaxes enough to enjoy affection. Misty blossoms with patience, predictability, and someone who understands that trust is built slowly and beautifully.Misty will thrive in a calm home that celebrates small victories and lets her set the pace. If you're someone who finds joy in helping a shy dog feel safe, loved, and understood, Misty is ready to begin that journey with you.Misty is available for foster to adopt, direct adoption, or transfer to a trusted partner.
