In the shelter’s words

Meet Ritz! Currently in a Foster home!Ritz is a stunning 4 year old tabby, who is also extremely petite! We don’t know a whole lot about her history, other than that she was in a different shelter prior to HSCC. Because of this, she is quite timid and will take her time to get fully acquainted with both humans and animals. However, once she starts to get to know you, she becomes quite the love bug! Ritz is extremely affectionate, loves to be pet and will circle you over and over to put her scent on you.She is a cat that requires personal space sometimes, as she prefers to come to you instead of the other way around. She will swat or hiss if she is feeling like her boundaries are pushed, so she would do best in a home with older kids and probably older animals as well.In the six weeks in foster care, she has made strides! Ritz is learning how to play with toys (I’m assuming she’s never had the chance before) and rough house with our other boy cat. She has become the perfect reading buddy, as she will rub all over the book and perch next to you to take a snooze. She also loves to sit on a window sill and see what the outside world is up to.With a little patience and some knowledge in cat boundaries, Ritz will be your perfect match! She’s got a. little sass and a lot of love, and if you’re willing to give her a chance she will absolutely steal your heart. Please email hsccfosterteam@gmail.com to be put in touch with her foster family!
