Dachshund meets Pitbull, and the result is one absolutely ADORABLE little package! Meet Lucy, who isn't even a year old yet and is already stealing hearts everywhere she goes! Sweet Lucy found herself at our shelter through no fault of her own. Her owners were facing medical issues and, heartbreakingly, could no longer give her the care, exercise, and attention they wanted her to have. With Lucy being so young and full of energy, their senior dog just wasn't up for all the puppy playtime. So, they made the difficult decision to give Lucy the opportunity to find a home better suited for her needs.And boy, do we want that for her! ❤️Lucy is a happy, playful little girl with plenty of love to give. She's quickly learning how to walk on a leash and does well with her potty training when she's given regular opportunities to go outside. She has warmed up beautifully to every volunteer who has spent time with her, and she's proving to be one sweet little gem!She has not been around small children, so we recommend a safe, thoughtful introduction.At not quite a year old, Lucy has her whole life ahead of her! She needs someone who will embrace her playful personality, give her the exercise and adventures she craves, and then let her curl up for all the love and snuggles she has to offer.Just look at that face! Those little legs, that adorable mix, and that personality! How could you possibly say no? COME MEET LUCY! She's ready to trade her shelter kennel for a couch, a backyard, a family, and a lifetime of love.We promise this pint-sized cutie is going to be awfully hard to leave behind! ❤️
