In the shelter’s words
I think I would like to be an only child... but I can live with other kitties... you just gotta give me some time to adjust. I love drinking straws... I will steal them from you; or you can just give me one. I also love drinking from the faucet; just turn it on a little and I will take it from there! Now that I don't have babies, I love to play with toys! Small bouncy balls are a favorite! And I have a super cute orange tip on my tail! I tried really hard to be a tortoiseshell... but came out mostly a tabby... so I am a torbie!

Plan a visit with the source organization
We interview instead of an application (we have been doing this with another organization for some time) and then have a adoption contract to sign. Fee is $95 for cats... $175 for dogs. Requirement is a good home and that if they can't keep the animal, they return it to us. See attached contract.
Confirm availability, fees and the meeting address before traveling.
