In the shelter’s words

Meet Trevor! Gender: Male This is Trevor — and if there is one dog in the shelter who deserves a standing ovation, a parade, and a forever home all at once, it's this guy. Trevor has been waiting patiently for over a year for the right family to walk through that door, and every single day he has shown up with his tail wagging and his heart wide open. That kind of loyalty and resilience? It tells you everything you need to know about who Trevor really is. Trevor is a fantastic family dog in every sense of the word. He is the kind of dog who fits right into the rhythm of family life — equally happy joining in on the fun and adventure as he is settling down for a quiet evening at home. He loves his people deeply and gives everything he has to those lucky enough to earn his trust and affection. Despite everything — despite the days that turned into weeks, and the weeks that turned into months — Trevor never gave up. He still greets every new face with hope and enthusiasm. He still plays. He still loves. He has waited this long for his people, and he would wait even longer if he had to. But we really, truly hope he doesn't have to. Every dog deserves a couch to call their own, a yard to run in, and a family to love. Trevor has been dreaming of exactly that for over a year now. He has been patient. He has been brave. He has been everything a good dog is supposed to be — and then some. His perfect day looks something like this — a morning walk with his family, some playtime in the yard, a few good belly rubs, and falling asleep surrounded by the people who finally chose him. That's it. That's all Trevor has ever wanted. "He has waited over a year for his family — imagine how hard he will love them when he finally finds them." Trevor is a great fit for: ✅ Families of all kinds ✅ Homes with children ✅ Active households who love outdoor adventures ✅ Anyone looking for a deeply loyal and loving companion ✅ Someone ready to give a deserving dog the home he has been waiting for Trevor has given this shelter everything — his patience, his heart, and over a year of unwavering hope. Now it's time for someone to give something back to him. Could that someone be you? Come meet Trevor today. He's been waiting for you.
