In the shelter’s words
Hi, I'm Betty! I came to M'Shoogy's after being found on my own, and now I'm ready to find a forever family where I can truly belong. While shelter life is keeping me safe, what I really want is a home filled with love and companionship. I'm a sweet, playful girl who enjoys spending time with people and going for walks. I've also done well with several other dogs at the shelter, making me a great candidate for a home with a canine companion. Whether we're heading out for an adventure or simply spending time together, I'm happiest when I'm with my people. If you're looking for a friendly, loving dog to add to your family, I'd love the chance to meet you. Come visit me at M'Shoogy's and see if we're the perfect match!

We want to meet you and make sure we are making the right match for your situation as well as for the animal. Email or call us about which animal you are considering and we can make an appointment for you and the animal to meet. Visit the Adoption Information page at www.mshoogys.org to fill out our adoption application and email it to one of our volunteers. You can also print a copy, fill it out, and bring it with you to M'Shoogy's during our hours of operation, which are Saturdays from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Please note that if you are applying to adopt a dog, we usually require that you have a fenced-in yard except in special situations. The cost to adopt includes shots and the cost of spaying/neutering. If you are adopting a dog we also ask that you purchase 6 months of heartworm preventative. It is sold by weight. If you check around, you'll find it is the lowest cost adoption service in the area.
