In the shelter’s words

Tootsie is a quiet, sensitive soul who takes her time getting to know the world. When meeting new people, she can be very shy and a bit aloof at first, preferring to observe from a safe distance. Loud noises can startle her, so she’s looking for a calm, peaceful home where life moves at a softer volume. What Tootsie truly needs is a patient, understanding adopter who will let her blossom on her own terms. She’s not the type to rush into affection—but once she feels safe, her gentle personality will begin to shine through.
