In the shelter’s words
Chayse’s story began on the streets of Waterbury, where she was rescued at only six weeks old. From such a vulnerable beginning, she has grown into the most beautiful, gentle little girl with a big heart Chayse is a very sweet but sensitive soul. She can be a little cautious in new situations and will need a family who understands that trust takes time, however once that trust is gained she will be your best friend forever! She would thrive in a quiet, peaceful home where she can settle in and not be overwhelmed. Once Chayse feels safe, her sweet personality truly begins to shine. She loves other cats although she prefers gentle play rather than roughhousing. She has also been raised around dogs and can do well with if they’re respectful and calm. P Chayse has a gorgeous black-and-white super silky coat, the most beautiful expressive eyes, and a long, swishy tail that she carries with so much grace Chayse was born around March 30, 2026, and is currently being fostered in Prospect. She is fixed, up-to-date on shots, and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV. All of our cats and kittens are cared for in loving foster homes. "Meet and Greets" can be arranged only after an application has been submitted and approved. Applications for adoption can be found at our website at www.fosterandforever.org. Our volunteers do their best to respond within 24-48 hours.

Plan a visit with the source organization
Visit our website to fill out an application either on-line or download a form (fill it out and email it back to us). This will start the adoption process. All applicants must provide references including a vet (please give them permission to speak to us). Note that we do not place our pets in homes with children under 5, this protects the children and our pets. Once references are checked a home visit will be scheduled and then a meet and greet with the pet.
