In the shelter’s words

Lady Cheesy Gordita Crunch ✨Looking for a little extra flavor in your life? Meet Lady Cheesy Gordita Crunch! Just like her namesake, she’s got a warm, golden look (a gorgeous 3-year-old orange tabby!) and light green eyes that will absolutely melt your heart. While she has a big, fun name, Lady Cheesy Gordita Crunch is actually a very gentle, quiet soul. In her previous home, she had to share her space with some high-energy kitty roommates who were a bit too overwhelming for her peaceful nature. Because of that, she can be quite shy at first. She just needs a little time and a quiet environment to realize she is completely safe and sound.A Quick Note on Her HealthLady Cheesy Gordita Crunch is FIV-positive (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). While that might sound intimidating at first, it's actually not a serious health concern! It simply means she has a slightly weaker immune system. With a high-quality diet, a stress-free indoor lifestyle, and regular vet checkups, FIV-positive cats live completely normal, happy, and long lives. It is only transmissible to other cats through deep, severe bite wounds—so she can safely live with other gentle, friendly cats, or shine as your one-and-only queen. If you are patient and let her go at her own pace, the reward is absolutely worth it! Once she warms up and knows she's secure, her true personality shines: The Sweetest Soundtrack: She’ll greet you with tiny, adorable chirping meows and soft, rumbling purrs. The Biscuit Maker: She is a professional baker and will constantly make enthusiastic biscuits when she's feeling content. Back Scratches Galore: She absolutely loves gentle pets all along her back. Playtime Fun: When she's ready to play, she loves chasing bird and mouse toys, and she can't get enough of her ball tower! Foodie at Heart: True to her name, she is a huge fan of snacks and treats (which is a fantastic way to win her heart!).Lady Cheesy Gordita Crunch would do best in a calm, patient home where she can be cherished and protected. If you have the gentle touch she’s looking for, she’s ready to fill your quiet moments with love, purrs, and plenty of biscuits. To inquire about adopting this cat please complete an adoption application at tinyurl.com/ccapadoptions
