In the shelter’s words

Meet Coal! Big adventures start with little paws, and this adorable boy is looking for someone to share all his firsts with! Coal is an approximately 10-week-old male Labrador Retriever mix weighing 20 pounds. Found near Poetry Road and Vitex Drive in Rockwall County on 10/25/26, Coal was never reclaimed and is now hoping for a fresh start. From learning his first commands to discovering the joys of family life, Coal has so many exciting milestones ahead! He needs a loving, committed family ready to embrace puppyhood with patience, potty training, positive reinforcement, socialization, and plenty of playtime. With the right guidance, Coal has the potential to become a wonderful lifelong companion! His $125 adoption fee includes neuter, microchip, rabies vaccination, age-appropriate vaccinations, and dewormer. His neuter appointment on 11/11/26 is nonnegotiable. Apply through https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/! Meet and greets will be scheduled with approved adopters in the order in which their applications are received.
