Foster location: Dreamweaver Farm, Pacolet, SC Weight: 64 lbs Height: 20 inches at the shoulder Spayed/Neutered: Yes Adoption Fee: $350 Fence needed? Yes Want To Know More About Me? Text Rose to 864‑441‑9075 for her full story and photos — we’ll send everything you need to know. If you want to skip straight to the application: www.carolinapoodlerescue.org/application/ Here’s Your Quick Peek: Rose is a shy, sensitive Golden Retriever who came to CPR as a breeder release. She has a lot to learn about living in a home and being someone’s companion. She’s gentle, cautious, and easily overwhelmed, but she’s trying — and she’s making slow, steady progress. Must have: A quiet, patient home with another friendly dog to guide her and help her feel secure. Exercise: Medium — she enjoys exploring once she feels safe. Best with: Calm adults and an experienced adopter who understands nervous dogs. Not ideal for: Homes with children — she is sensitive to noise and sudden movement. Energy level: Medium — curious but cautious. Rose is working on house training, crate training, and leash skills. She’s very shy with new people and needs slow, gentle introductions. She’s affectionate once she trusts you and will quietly follow her dog friends for comfort and confidence. Good with dogs: Yes — especially calm, friendly role‑model dogs. Good with kids: Not recommended. Cats: Unknown. Fun fact: Rose watches everything — she learns by observing her dog friends and will quietly mirror them once she feels safe.
