In the shelter’s words

WATCH MY VIDEO...Forget the big, green monster! Our Shrek is an adorable 2-year-old gray tabby kitty whose biggest wish is to find a loving family to call his own. We don't know much about his past, but we do know that he's been a little nervous in his new surroundings while still showing us just how sweet he can be. With a little patience, love, and a safe place to call home, Shrek may blossom into a wonderful companion. There's one important thing you'll need to know about this handsome boy. Shrek is FIV-positive, which means he'll need to be the only cat in your home or share it with other FIV-positive cats. FIV cannot be transmitted to people or dogs, and it is primarily spread between cats through deep bite wounds. Many FIV-positive cats live long, happy lives with proper care and regular veterinary checkups. Shrek may not have a fairy-tale castle, but he doesn't need one! All he really needs is someone willing to look past his diagnosis and see the sweet, deserving kitty underneath. Could you be the one to give this special boy his happily ever after?
