**NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS!**Meet Daniel, one of our adorable “Dresden Files” puppies! Born on 9/11/26, Daniel and his siblings have a 30-pound heeler mix mom and an unknown dad. We estimate they’ll grow to around 40–45 pounds full grown. Daniel will be ready to head to his adoptive home after 11/19/26.If you’re looking for a big, fluffy bundle of energy and joy, Daniel is your guy! Named after the legendary eldest Carpenter brother, Daniel is quite the little chunker, with an extra-fluffy coat that makes him look less like a puppy and more like an adorable little Chewbacca. (Honestly, that might have been a missed naming opportunity!) But Daniel suits his name just fine, thanks to his big personality and enthusiasm for life.Daniel loves just about everything, especially food, playtime, and bouncing around! He’s already working on his vertical jump, so his foster family has had to move things to higher shelves to keep them out of his curious reach. He also has a serious love for water and thinks splashing and digging in his water bowl is a fantastic way to spend his time. If you’re looking for a future beach, lake, or pool buddy, Daniel is ready to make a splash in your life!Daniel is looking for a loving, active family who will embrace his playful antics, provide plenty of toys and enrichment, and help him learn good puppy manners as he grows. With his fluffy good looks and larger-than-life personality, he’s sure to bring plenty of laughter and adventure to his forever home!**A few important adoption details:** CAWS pets are not adopted on a first-come, first-served basis. We strive to find the best match for each animal, and applications may take up to 48 hours to process.Daniel will be microchipped, and CAWS will cover his first full year of puppy vaccinations as well as his neuter surgery at around 6 months of age.
