Howdy! My name is Yanuk. I&#39m a handsome short haired grey and white male, born approximately 8/06/2020. My story with Wild Blue Cats actually began when I was just a tiny kitten. My siblings and I were caught during a TNR operation and brought to safety. I was a little scared at first, but with time and patience I grew into a sweet, affectionate boy who loved snuggling, purring, playing, climbing cat trees, wrestling with my siblings, and stretching out for naps in the sunshine. I was eventually adopted and spent several years in a home, but life changed in a heartbreaking way when my person&#39s spouse passed away. They had to move out of their home and, sadly, were unable to bring me with them. Because of circumstances completely beyond anyone&#39s control, I found myself back at Wild Blue Cats and ready to begin another chapter. Coming back was understandably a little overwhelming for me at first. I needed some time to settle in and figure out my new surroundings, and I was nervous and cautious while decompressing. But underneath that uncertainty is the same very sweet, loving boy I&#39ve always been. Once I feel safe, I really enjoy attention. I&#39ll come up for pets, sit in your lap, purr, and happily soak up scratches, especially around my head and cheeks! I can be a little unsure in new situations, but I&#39m becoming more comfortable and confident as I realize that I&#39m surrounded by people who care about me. I&#39m also good with other cats and may enjoy having a feline friend again, as long as Wild Blue Cats&#39 introduction procedures are followed. What I&#39m really hoping for now is a calm, loving forever home where I can settle in at my own pace and know that I&#39m safe. I&#39ve already experienced a lot of change in my life, so having someone patient, kind, and willing to give me the time I need would mean everything to me.
