In the shelter’s words

Meet Blazer, the adorable Texan transplant ready to bring a spark to your life! This happy-go-lucky pup is pure puppy energy, fearlessly embracing new environments and friends. He's curious about cats (sniffs, no chasing!) and playful with other dogs, though his puppy antics might need a patient playmate. Blazer's a quick study, managing the chilly weather and acing outdoor potty breaks with a consistent schedule. He adores toys (especially his giant stuffed owl!), treats, and playing with kids. This cute little goofball has an endlessly loving spirit and prances delightfully when he follows you around. He's a pro at kennel time, quietly sleeping through the night and tolerating 3-4 hour stints during the day. Blazer loves pets, but also knows when to take a peaceful moment with a bone in his kennel before rejoining the fun. His quirky attitude and "eyeliner" markings make him utterly unique. If you’re seeking a spunky, small, energetic friend with boundless love and a charming Southern flair, Blazer's your guy! He's ready to fill your home with joy and playful adventures. Ready to welcome this little gentleman? Apply to adopt Blazer today! Blazer is from Texas. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about Ruff Start’s adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our How to Adopt page. *Rescue puppies are notorious for losing their birth certificates before entering our rescue. We cannot guarantee the breed or size they will be full grown.* If you are unable to adopt but want to help this animal and others in our care, you can donate to support the medical and veterinary needs of all Ruff Start Rescue animals.
