In the shelter’s words
Meet Layne — A Happy Boy Ready for His Second Chance! Layne is a 3-year-old, 54-pound bundle of happiness who is ready to leave his stray days behind and finally have the loving family he deserves. Layne arrived at the shelter as a stray, and heartbreakingly, no one ever came looking for him. It’s hard to understand how a dog this sweet could have been left behind. Layne has the kind of personality that makes everyone around him smile. He is friendly, affectionate, and an absolute joy to be with. Layne loves everyone he meets, including kids, and he gets along well with other dogs. He has good manners, responds well to correction, and is eager to please. He’s the kind of dog who just wants to be part of the family—and his big, happy smile makes it impossible not to fall in love with him! When Layne isn’t busy enjoying time with his people, he’d be perfectly content relaxing beside you or curling up on the couch for a well-earned afternoon nap. He’s ready for all the simple things every dog deserves: a soft bed, a safe home, people to love, and a family who will never leave him behind. Layne is heartworm negative and has received his DHLPP, Bordetella, and rabies vaccines, so he’s ready to begin his new life. This sweet, scruffy boy has so much love to give. All Layne needs is someone willing to give him the second chance he’s been waiting for. Could you be the family that finally shows Layne what forever really means? Give Layne a chance, and he’ll give you a lifetime of happiness in return. Adoption fee includes: first 2 DAPP, bordetella, deworming, flea preventative, sterilized, heartworm test, microchip Adoption fee: $375.00

Our adopters fill out an application that screens for problems that may be detrimental to our cats and kittens. Once the adopter is approved we provide veterinary referrals which help with low cost spays or neuters for the kittens that are too young at the time of adoption. We are always available to help with behavioral issues that arise. We provide numerous information sheets in our adoption folders, plus the medical background of each cat. The only fees involved with our program are adoption fees that offset our veterinary bills.
