In the shelter’s words

Meet Gorgeous Goldie ✨ Gorgeous Goldie is a rare little gem—soft, dainty, and full of quiet magic. An orange girl (yes, that alone makes her special!), Goldie was rescued from the streets of Long Beach and has blossomed into the sweetest, most gentle soul. She has the tiniest peeps when you pet her—little chirps and soft conversations just for you. Goldie is a delicate, shy beauty who takes a moment to feel safe, but once she does, she truly shines. She’ll curl up beside you, snuggle close, and fill your days with her gentle presence and playful spirit. Goldie would do best in a calm, quiet home—ideally with no young children or with older, respectful kids—where someone can dote on her and let her come out of her shell at her own pace. She’s affectionate without being demanding, playful yet refined, and incredibly loving once trust is earned. She’s about 1–2 years old, has already had a litter, is spayed, and gets along well with other cats. She enjoys playtime, cozy moments, and—once relaxed—she’ll even invite belly rubs, as you can see in this video. If you’re looking for a tender-hearted companion, a little chirping shadow who will love you deeply and quietly, Gorgeous Goldie may be your perfect match. Give her patience, safety, and love—and she will brighten your life in the most beautiful way. Email adoptions@lbsn.org for an application if you would like to meet gorgeous Goldie. She has been spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and comes with a medical record book. A tax deductible donation of $175 is requested to offset her vet expenses. She is living in a foster home in Long Beach, Why Adopt from LBSN? At LBSN, we pride ourselves on the quality, care and dedication we give to every cat we rescue. Our cats are never kept in cages or adoption centers — they live in our foster homes as part of the family until they are healthy, happy and truly ready for adoption. Because we live with them, we get to know their personalities extremely well, which allows us to focus on making the right match, not simply making an adoption. With nearly 30 years of rescue experience, we’re also here after adoption to offer guidance and support whenever you need it. For us, success is knowing we’ve done right by each cat and found them a loving home for life. ❤️
