In the shelter’s words

Birthdate: 10/1/2021Breed: One of a kindWeight: 33.2 lbsA note from Ukulele's foster: "All is going well with Ukulele! He is eating and sleeping well and doing great with quick house training! He is not a puller when walking - he is so cute, he will look back at you and make eye contact with those beautiful, soulful eyes. He is also not at all reactive to other people or dogs. He has so many positives! He is a fast learner and decompressing quickly, taking new steps to explore more of the house every day!" Meet Ukulele—a gentle soul wrapped in soft fur and quiet curiosity. At first glance, you might notice his bashful eyes and the way he hangs back, quietly taking in the world around him. But don’t be fooled: there’s a symphony of love waiting just beneath that shy exterior.Give Ukulele a moment to get to know you, and watch the transformation that will leave you absolutely awestruck. His whole face brightens, his tail becomes a joyful metronome, and suddenly he’s wiggling his way straight into your heart. Every ounce of hesitation melts away as he showers you with affection, proving that trust is worth every second of patience.Ukulele’s magic doesn’t stop there—his gentle spirit extends to canine companions of all ages, especially playful pups eager for a new friend. With a sweetness that soothes even the most rambunctious playmates and a warm presence that feels like a favorite melody, Ukulele is truly one-of-a-kind. Discover the wonder of friendship redefined—come meet Ukulele and let your heart be serenaded!Ukulele is currently in a foster home. Please email adoptions@pawscrossedny.org if you'd like to meet him!The Rescue is open 7 days a week for you to come and meet our pets! Walk-ins are welcome! In order to interact with them, you’ll need a simple questionnaire filled out. You can fill this out at the Rescue or before you come in at: https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/36924/generic If you have any questions, please email us at adoptions@pawscrossedny.org for more information. Please understand that we cannot hold pets for any reason. All adoptions are done on a first come, first adopt basis for pre-approved applicants. The Shelter software system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.
